Christian Education

Purpose

Our Christian Education program is responsible for teaching God's Word by means of Christian/Lutheran based educational material, as well as Christian witness, for children and adult age groups.

Opportunities

Opportunities are available for those who would like to share God's Word through Christian service as Sunday School Teachers, as adult education/forum leaders, or assisting with a Christian preschool.

Opportunities to serve include:

• Parish Education Committee Member
• Adult Education
  • Coordinate Adult Education
  • Participate in Sunday Morning Adult Class
  • Participate in Bible Study
  • Participate in Sunday Evening Forum (3-4 times/yr.)
• Catechism Teacher
• Care for our Angels (birth - age 3)
  • Cradle Roll Coordinator
  • Church Nursery Coordinator
    • Church Nursery Attendant (must be 15 or older and certified by the Red Cross)
• Church Library Coordinator
  • Church Library Assistant
• Summer Bible Day Camp Coordinator
  • Bible Day Camp Assistant
• Sunday Church School
  • Sunday School Superintendent
  • Sunday School Teacher
  • Provide Snacks for Sunday School
  • Provide leadership for Children's Christmas Program
• Youth League (5th grade - high school)
  • Coordinate youth activities
  • Assist with youth activities
  • Participate in youth activities
  • Participate in a high school youth group
  • Chaperone/drive for youth activities
• Other
