Worship Ministry Team

We do

We plan and organize worship services, select hymns and special music offerings, oversee the adult choir, the children's choir, and the Altar Committee.

We worship every Sunday using a variety of music and liturgies from many cultures, countries, and traditions. To lead us in music, we have many leaders, including the adult choir, the choir director, accompanist, organist, music director, and a variety of special music praise ensembles.

We need help with

We need help implementing new ideas for worship. We also need volunteers to serve as worship leaders: ushers, greeters, readers, assisting ministers, and acolytes. We welcome anyone to present special music in worship, and we welcome any new ideas for worship services, hymns suggestions, or any other ways to enhance worship at Good Shepherd.

Altar Committee

The Altar Committee works under the leadership of the Worship Ministry Team. It is responsible for the care and displaying of paraments and banners, Holy Communion preparation, and general care for the altar.
